Replacing the old galvanized pipe with new fittings eliminated rust contamination along with the risk of future leaks and water damage. This established a secure plumbing connection with new hot and cold valves that would now provide water to the laundry machine properly and without disruption. We also ensured that the valves were mounted properly to keep them in place and avoid the possibility of shifting around too much and causing pinhole leaks.
